The Great Civil War
Binding intact but boards are somewhat loose and many pages are cracked and/or torn at the spine edges. Pages age-darkened and with some slight foxing. The tissue paper page covering the title page is torn (the bottom outside corner is missing). The front end paper has an ink-written name date and place "T.Condling Dec 2nd 1891 Stratford" on it and underneath a message that has been crossed through.The gilt titles on the spine are worn but still legible. The book covers the period from the accession of Charles I to the dissolution of the long parliament.
